Sharing Single Table Dedupe Scenarios and Master Rules Among Users

QUESTION:

We have multiple users of DemandTools.  Is there a way for me to make scenarios or master rules I have created available to the other users?

ANSWER:

Yes.  There are 2 ways to share the Single Table Dedupe Scenarios and Master Rules between DemandTools users: 

1. Update the directories where these files are located to a shared drive on your network using the "File Paths" tab in the DemandTools Options menu. More information on "File Paths" can be found here.
2. Attach the files to an email and have the other DemandTools user(s) save to their DemandToolsData/Scenarios/{objectname} directory on their PC (or DemandToolsData/MasterRules/{objectname} directory for Master Rules).

NOTE:  Starting in DemandTools 2.7 Master Rule and Field Rule logic are saved in the scenario file so ONLY THE SCENARIO FILE needs to be shared/sent to the user.
