There are two options for logging in, API Login and OAuth login. The OAuth login tab supports logging in with custom domains and SSO (single sign on) providers. DemandTools also supports managing the application as a Salesforce Connected App when Salesforce's API Client Whitelisting feature is enabled.
The standard Salesforce API Login tab is available for users that do not use SSO or API Client Whitelisting, but either login option/tab can be utilized for these users. Users that use SSO or API Client Whitelisting will need to use the Salesforce OAuth Login option.
