QUESTION:
We use VirtualBox on a Mac to access DemandTools. It was working fine, but now I am getting an error when attempting to login and DemandTools completely shuts down. The error occurs as soon as I click login for the API login, and when I click "Allow" on the OAuth login. How can I resolve?
The full error text is:
- Failed error message: The underlying connection was closed. An unexpected error occurred on a receive. Unable to read data from the transport connection. An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remove host.
ANSWER:
This will happen when the Network Adapter setting is NAT. To resolve change to Bridge Adapter.
NOTE: Some users have commented that a recent update may have changed the setting to NAT, and that is why it was working and then suddenly started to throw this error.
