QUESTION:
I need to allowlist the sites for DemandTools and PeopleImport but, the web addresses (www.crmfusion.com & www.peopleimport.com) are not sufficient. I need the IP Addresses; how do I locate those?
ANSWER:
The DemandTools and PeopleImport sites can be pinged from the Windows Command Prompt in order to obtain the IP Addresses.
Open the Command Prompt window and type:
ping crmfusion.com
Once the Reply from address information has populated and the
"C:\Users\UserName> " appears you can ping the next site by typing:
ping peopleimport.com
The reply from address will be the IP address you are seeking.
NOTE: We reserve the right to change our servers at any time which will result in new IP addresses. Therefore it is always recommended that crmfusion.com and peopleimport.com be whitelisted vs. whitelisting the actual IP addresses.
