Is it possible for me to transfer to Partner/Portal users in Reassign Ownership? I only see standard users in the drop down for Reassign to. How do I assign to portal users?
NOTE: Starting in version 2.50.24 there is a new Option, "Show Non-Standard Users" in the DemandTools Options -> General Settings that will show Partner users in the dropdown list. To activate this option, check the box, then logout and back in. Users running an earlier version will either need to upgrade or use the process described below.
Reassign Ownership can be used to reassign to Partner/Portal users using the option to read in a spreadsheet of the records that need to be updated, as the the drop-down on Screen 2 WILL ONLY show standard users. (unless "Show Non-Standard Users" is checked in Options -> General Settings as noted above, and only available in version 2.50.24 and higher).
- On Screen 1 select the option to "Use Record ID's from File" (vs. using conditions) and have the record ID's and the owner ID's for the new Partner/Portal users in the input file.
- On Screen 2 instead of picking a new owner from the drop down list (as portal users are not shown there), select the radio button "Reassign to owner given in key input file".
- Also on Screen 2 there is an option to "Show Non-Standard Users" under the options in the lower right. Checking this box will display the usernames vs. the user ID's for the Partner/Portal users in the results grid.
