This option addresses the situation where some cases have information in the non-master accounts that is not present in the master Account.
For example, the non-master Account may have a value for "Web Page" while the value for that field in the master Account may be blank.
If you check "Update fields where master empty", data from Account fields will be transferred from the non-master Account(s) to the master Account if:

- The non-master has a value for that field
