2. Get a list of your IP addresses and sending domains
Your IP addresses and sending domains are required to set up monitoring profiles where you track metrics related to your sending reputation. Be sure to note if your IP addresses are dedicated (only used by your company) or shared (used by many companies).
You may need to contact your email administrator, Email Service Provider, or hosting provider for this information.

14. Repeat steps 5-13 for all sending domains or subdomains. Use “Domains” for your profile name
If you are unsure if you are using a shared or dedicated IP address, contact your email administrator, Email Service Provider, or hosting provider.
4. Inbox Placement: Seed List Optimizer and Seed Weighting (Optional: Not available for all plans)
Seed list weighting is the ability to assign specific percentages, or “weighting,” to each individual mailbox provider to ensure seed results more accurately reflect where you send mail. If you are not sure where you send mail, you can leverage Seed List Optimizer to determine how your list should be weighted.
1. Create a .TXT or .CSV file of your entire email list file with one email address or domain per line.
2. Delete the text to the left of the @ sign for privacy.
-
- Validity discards your uploaded file once it is processed. No records are retained.
3. Log in to Everest
4. Navigate to the In-Flight Section
5. Click Inbox Placement
6. Click the Manage Seed List tab
7. Select your Seed Regions
- Only select the regions to which you send email for optimal weighting results.
- It is recommended to select “Global” for all senders as that region represents Gmail, Microsoft, Apple, and AOL.
8. Click Seed List Optimizer: Disabled
9. Click Upload List
10. Enter a Description
11. Click Choose File to upload your file
12. Click Upload List
13. In the Seed List Optimizer section, click the details icon to view the results
14. Click Apply Weighting to apply seed weighting
Periodically check that seed weighting reflects the make-up of your list profile. As you add, suppress, or lose subscribers over time, adjusting the seed weighting helps ensure an accurate reflection of your inbox placement rates. For most senders, adjusting seed weighting by uploading your list as instructed above is easier. You can also adjust seed weighting manually by clicking on the Seed Weighting widget and entering in the new weight values next to each mailbox provider. Be sure the seed weighting total equals 100%.
5. Inbox Placement: Set up your Seed List, Send a test to Everest, and Check your Matching ID

- If you do not see a Matching ID, it is important to set one up for future campaigns to ensure Everest reports the most accurate results.
