Setting up a shared account takes cooperation between a Partner and a service client who both use Everest.
First, the service client must:
- Sign in to Everest.
- Use the navigation menu at left to go to My Everest, then Apps & Integrations.
- Scroll down to the Utilities section, find Account Sharing, and select Settings.
- Under the Who Has Access tab, find the Access Token next to the key icon.
- Provide the Access Token to the Partner.
Then, the Partner must:
- Sign in to Everest.
- Use the navigation menu at left to go to My Everest, then Apps & Integrations.
- Scroll down to the Utilities section, find Account Sharing, and select Settings.
- Under the Shared With Me tab, enter the Access Token.
- Select a Role (Read-Only or Login) from the dropdown menu.
- Read-Only access allows you to view your service clients’ aggregated performance data while restricting access to account settings or product usage. This is commonly used to share Inbox Placement, Reputation, and Infrastructure (DMARC) data.
- Login access allows you to log into your service clients’ Everest accounts to review more detailed performance data and product usage. This is commonly used to provide an easy access point to assist in troubleshooting and investigating common issues.
- Select Request Access.
Finally, the service client must return to Account Sharing and change the Status dropdown to Approved.
