This article explains how to modify the fields that appear within Lookup dialogue boxes in GridBuddy Connect. These are the fields which appear when you click the magnifying glass within the lookup field. They are pulled from the 'Lookup Dialogs' configuration in Salesforce Setup.
Follow these steps to view or edit the Lookup Dialogs configuration:
1. Switch to Salesforce Classic.
2. Go to Salesforce Setup.
3. In the Quick Find search field, type the object in question, for example, Contact.
4. Click Search Layouts.
5. Click Edit beside Lookup Dialogs.
6. Add, remove, or reorder the fields you would like to have appear in the lookup. The left side is your Salesforce org, and the right side are the fields that will appear in the lookup.
7. Click Save.
8. Switch back to lightning experience.
9. Navigate to GridBuddy Connect Wizard > Organization > Connections, select the correct connection, and refresh the metadata.
10. When the metadata refresh is complete, open and refresh your grid.
11. Click the magnifying glass to open the lookup. You should see the same fields you populated in Setup>Lookup dialog.
