Delivered refers to emails that were successfully accepted by the mailbox provider. It does not represent the rate or number of emails placed in the inbox or spam folder.
The delivered rate is typically calculated as:
((number of emails sent - number of emails bounced back)/number of emails sent) x 100
For example:
- Number of emails sent = 500
- Number of emails bounced back = 1
- Delivered rate = ((500-1)/500)x100 = 99.8%
