A CRM object stores data associated to an organization based on the type of data collected. A CRM uses multiple CRM objects to describe your relationship with an organization.
Common CRM objects:
- Account: Contains data such as the company name, billing address, phone number, number of employees, account status, and account number.
- Lead: Contains data such as the name, title, phone number, company name, and email address of a new person interested in your product or service.
- Contact: Contains data such as the name, title, phone number, company name, and email address of a person that has qualified as a prospect or is associated with a new customer.
- Opportunity: Contains data such as company name, the products and services a company is interested in purchasing, the forecasted contract value of the purchase, and the sale close date.
