This option will only be shown if Salesforce Duplicate Rules are active for the chosen table, and ONLY if there are Duplicate Record Sets that require merging (2 or more records in the Duplicate Record Set).
DemandTools will pull up the duplicate groups and all the requested related fields. Users can then merge using all of DemandTools advanced merging options.
1. Select the Object to dedupe and pick fields to show on the results grid.
2. Select the Duplicate Rule to merge from
- General rule information will be displayed, along with number of duplicate sets and objects affected
- Counts will be for sets with 2 or more duplicates ONLY
When using this option users will proceed DIRECTLY to Step 3 Merge Control as no matching criteria will be needed.
