What does a remote server error upon login indicate?
If an error message appears upon login and refers to a remote server, e.g. "The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required", "Authorization Error," or "Unable to connect to the remote server" it is indicating a connection error due to your company's proxy server or that your anti-virus is blocking the application.
1. If it is proxy related, the proxy server settings need to be added/updated in DemandTools so the proxy server allows the connection.
