QUESTION:
I am getting the following error when I try to export to a file in MassEffect:
- Unable to save that file. Make sure the file is not open and try again. Error: Row is out of range.
**I have also run into this when exporting the results file from Find/Report IDs.
How can I resolve?
ANSWER:
This error will occur when trying to export more than 65,536 records to an xls file, as xls cannot handle more than this number of rows.
If the status indicates that more than 65,536 records will be exported select a file type other than xls (e.g. csv, xlsx or mdb).
