QUESTION:
I am trying to install DupeBlocker and I get this error:
- API_DISABLED_FOR_ORG: API is not enabled for this Organization or Partner.
What does this mean and how do I fix it?
ANSWER:
This error appears when installing DupeBlocker into a trial version of Salesforce or when installing into Salesforce Professional Edition when the API add-on has not been purchased.
If running a trial version of Salesforce, you can request (through their support channels) that they enable API access. If the request is granted, you may install and trial DupeBlocker.
If you are running Professional Edition, you must have the purchased API add-on in order to install and use DupeBlocker.
