The Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client Secret are required when setting up a Dynamics Connector in GridBuddy Connect. This guide walks through how to discover them in the Azure Active Directory.
- Go to https://admin.microsoft.com
- In the left nav of the admin view, click Show all.
- Click Azure Active Directory towards the bottom.
- You should then see the Azure AD portal:
- Click Azure Active Directory in the left nav.
- Click on the name of the application you’re trying to set up as a GridBuddy Connect Connector
- This is where you should find the Application (Client) ID, and the Directory (Tenant) ID.
- Click Certificates & Secrets in the secondary left nav, then click Client secret. This is the third thing that is needed to create a GBC connection.
- Note: the Client Secret Value will eventually get hidden so you may want to take note of it somewhere. If you lose it, you can create a new Client secret.
