When GridBuddy Connect users request data from a connection, GridBuddy Connect will apply security rules that the connection (underlying system) exposes including object-level, field-level, and record-level rules. GridBuddy Connect also offers ways to apply custom permissions per Grid in addition to the connection’s permissions, including object-level, field-level and record-level. Custom permissions within GridBuddy Connect will never give users more access than they have in the source system, custom permissions are additive.
