If you have built grids in multiple connections, for example in a Sandbox environment and in a Production environment, you can now filter your GridBuddy Connect Grids dropdown menu to only see grids from one desired connection, i.e. Production.
Instructions:
- Install the latest version of GridBuddy Connect.

- Select the Salesforce environment you want to install the app into (sandbox or production) and click Download Into Salesforce.
- This will take you to the Install Package page. Make sure you select Install for All Users – this will not overwrite any users’ access, it will simply update for all users in GridBuddy Connect.
- Go to Setup and click on the Object Manager.
- In the Object Manager quick find box, search for GridBuddyConnectSettings, and click on the GridBuddyConnectSettings label.
- Go to Page Layouts and click to edit.
- Drag the Connection ID onto the page layout and drop it.
- Click Save.
- Go to the GridBuddy Connect App and click the GridBuddy Connect Wizard.
- If you are working in a Production org and only want to see Production grids, copy the Connection ID for the Production connection.
- Go to GridBuddyConnect Wizard > Organization > Connections.
- Click the Production connection.
- Copy the Connection ID at the bottom of the connection page.
- Go back to the GridBuddyConnectSettings tab.
- Select the Default settings record and click Edit.
- Paste the Connection ID that you just copied into the Connector Id field.
- Click Save
- Go to the GridBuddy Connect Grids tab and click the dropdown menu. You should only see grids from the org you specified.
