GridBuddy Connect - Group Related Objects (in addition to parent objects)

On your grid, you can now put your related objects into groups (in addition to your parent objects). Supported fields to group by are:  

• Boolean
• Date
• Email
• ID
• Phone
• Picklist
• Reference
• String
• Text area
• URL

The object’s ID field is not groupable, nor is a Reference field type where the referenced object’s Name field is an Auto Number.

Instructions: 

1. Go to the GridBuddy Connect Wizard and click Manage Grids.
2. Select the grid you want to modify and navigate to Define Filters.
3. Scroll down to the related object of your choice and click on the Group By Field dropdown menu.
4. Select the field you want to group by, choose the sort order, and click Save.
5. When you launch your grid, expand the related items to see your grouping.
