In the “GridBuddy Connect Wizard” tab, you can create grids, extensions, actions or tabbed pages.
- Click ‘manage grids’ to create a new grid or edit/clone existing grids
- Select an existing grid to clone it or modify it
- Click “new” to create a new grid.
- Click ‘manage extensions’ to create a JS or CSS extension. Note that GridBuddy Connect works on JReact.
- Create CSS or JS extensions here, then add them to your grids in Step 1 of the grid wizard.
- Click ‘manage actions’ to create a custom action.
- Click “Create New Action” to create a new action.
- Give it a name
- Select the type.
- Single record: Applies to each individual record in the grid
- Batch: A button appears at the top of the grid
- Global: Applied to every grid in the datasource
- Select the connection and the object this action should work with. For example, if you want to put this action onto an Accounts grid, select ‘Accounts’ from the object picklist.
- Display behavior: Window Overlay
- Content Source: URL
- URL: Put the URL here for the action you want to configure.
- ID parameter: Id
- Click Save
- Select ‘Manage Tabbed Pages’ to create a tabbed page of grids.
- Click “new” to create a new tabbed page of grids and add a tab for each grid.
- Click the “URL” to launch the tabbed page of grids
