How long does it take for GridBuddy Connect to install?
End-to-end configuration of GridBuddy Connect and the GridBuddy Salesforce app can take ten minutes or less. This time varies depending on Salesforce’s servers and the complexity of custom code in your Salesforce instance. You will receive an email from Salesforce once your install is complete.
How do I assign users to licenses of GridBuddy Connect?
GridBuddy Connect will automatically add users to the GridBuddy Connect User Store when a user views a grid in Salesforce. Admin or Standard users can either explicitly create the named users in GridBuddy Connect up front, or they can allow users to be auto-created in the User Store up to the number of purchased licenses. Users that are auto-created in GridBuddy Connect are defaults to the Basic user role, which will NOT grant these users access to the GridBuddy Connect Wizard. An Admin or Standard user can change a Basic user's role once created if that user needs access to the Grid Wizard or other configuration settings.
How do I install ReadyGrids into my sandbox or existing org?
When an Admin signs up for a GridBuddy Connect account and verifies the Account info, they are taken to the Connections configuration screen in GridBuddy Connect. When creating a Salesforce datasource connection, checking the “Create ReadyGrids” box will auto-create pre-configured grids built on common use cases in your GridBuddy Connect instance. ReadyGrids streamline the ways you work with CRM data in Salesforce. 8 pre-built grids include common Sales, Admin, Marketing and Customer Success use cases such as Account, Opportunity, Forecasting, Lead and Task management functionality. Once created, these grids will appear in the “GridBuddy Connect Grids” tab in Salesforce.
